Founded in 2005, Butterflies Healthcare is an expanding company with a background in Optics and Pharmacy. Dedicated to providing the best in all that we do, our core products cover a range of healthcare issues. At Butterflies Healthcare we are constantly updating our range to keep our retailers at the forefront of healthcare solutions. We import and distribute a number of products which include:

  • Vitamin and mineral supplements for macular eye health
  • Warming therapy and sleep shields for dry eyes and blepharitis
  • Moisture chamber glasses for dry eyes
  • Cosmetics/skincare for sensitive skin and eyes
  • Optical/prescription swimming goggles

Our offices are situated on the outskirts of Banbury with easy access to the M40 but still only a stone’s throw from the idyllic Oxfordshire countryside. About Butterflies Healthcare

In the case of our key brands we supply direct to pharmacies, opticians and health stores so they may be available in your local area. If you are a retailer and do not stock our products already, please contact us on 0345 838 6704 to place an order and become a stockist.

We sell most items through high street opticians and pharmacies or direct by mail order either over the internet, by phone or post . We also have a business premises on the outskirts of Banbury.

Our six knowledgeable staff take and fulfil your orders and pass on any detailed queries they are unable to answer to James and Michelle. They are responsible for the day to day running of the order fulfilment process.

Who we are

James Sutton (BSc MCOptom)

James is an optometrist who trained at the University of Wales, Cardiff and has over 30 years experience as a high street optician. He applies the knowledge he has gained during this time to offer advice on a range of optical matters including prescription swimming goggles and diving masks, dry eyes, blepharitis, macular degeneration and eye vitamins. He also manages our websites and IT.

Michelle Sutton (BPharm MRPharmS)

Michelle is a practising pharmacist who trained at The School of Pharmacy, University of London and has over 30 years experience working in a variety of high street pharmacies. In 2011 she won the Banbury Women in Business Award for an Established Business. She advises on the use of eye drops, vitamins and supplements, skincare, cosmetics and sensitive skin. She looks for marketing opportunities and new products.
